Tara Tyson is a Client Consultation Specialist at Sieben Edmunds Miller and often one of the first people prospective clients speak with when they contact the firm. She understands that reaching out to a criminal defense or personal injury attorney can come during an incredibly stressful and uncertain time. From that first conversation, Tara’s goal is to create a judgment-free environment where people can tell their story, feel genuinely heard, and begin to understand what their next steps may look like.
Tara brings more than 20 years of experience in sales, relationship management, and client service to her role at Sieben Edmunds Miller. Her career has included national account management, insurance, and software sales, where she developed a reputation for building trust, asking the right questions, and helping people navigate important decisions with confidence. She has also helped develop and implement sales and client-service processes, experience she now brings to shaping and strengthening the firm’s client consultation process.
Throughout her career, Tara has built her approach around listening carefully and understanding what matters most to the person on the other end of the conversation. At Sieben Edmunds Miller, those skills have taken on a deeper meaning. Prospective clients are often reaching out during one of the most difficult periods of their lives, and Tara believes exceptional service begins by making sure every person feels taken seriously, treated with respect, and never judged for the circumstances that brought them to the firm.
What Tara enjoys most about her role is helping people move from uncertainty toward the feeling that they have someone in their corner. Sometimes that means connecting a prospective client with one of Sieben Edmunds Miller’s attorneys. Other times, it means helping someone identify a resource or direction even when the firm isn’t the right fit for their legal needs. For Tara, one of the most rewarding moments is hearing the relief in someone’s voice when they realize they’ve found someone willing to listen and help.
Tara was drawn to Sieben Edmunds Miller because the role allows her to combine the skills she has developed throughout her career with work that has a genuine sense of purpose. She enjoys the fast pace and challenge of learning the legal field while working alongside a team that shares her high expectations for client service. Being able to confidently connect a prospective client with an attorney who will continue providing that same level of care is an important part of what makes the role such a natural fit.
Outside of work, Tara enjoys staying active through pickleball, boxing, and working out. When she’s looking for something a little quieter, she enjoys gardening, spending time in her yard, and taking walks with her dog, Cali.
